HISTORY
Established in December 2011, Faith Christian Church of the Apostolic Faith (FCC) is a new church dedicated to expanding the ministry of Jesus Christ in the Memphis area.

At Faith Christian Church of the Apostolic Faith, We are building on Jesus Christ himself as the chief cornerstone. There is simply no more solid foundation upon which to build a church, or a life for that matter, than on the person and principles of Jesus Christ. Unlike many of our traditions and innovations, He is forever relevant– the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

His life-changing truth sets us free from the bondage of sin and gives us hope for the future. His unconditional love, like nothing else on earth, gives us a sense of fulfillment, acceptance and purpose in life.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our church and worship the Lord with us! We hope that you will have a rich and fulfilling worship experience today. There is something awesome in allowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to minister to us through His Love and through his people. Our prayer is that God will bless you abundantly.

OUR PURPOSE
To promote and advance the ministry of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom in the city of Memphis and in the entire world; To maintain public worship of God for the purposes of Christian nurture and Growth.

IN JESUS NAME...
We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works, as the word of God is taught and revealed by the Holy Ghost.

OUR VISION
Compassionate people being the premier witness for Jesus Christ concering salvation in the Memphis area.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our chief aim is to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works; that we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; and that we may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom we shine as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide their feet into the way of peace. (See Titus 2:13, 14; I Peter 2:9; Philippians 2:15, 16; Luke 1:79).

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
We Believe...that the bible is the inspired, infalliable word of God, written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

We Believe...in one God who is eternal, infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purposes, as well as omniscient and omnipresent.

We Believe...that He was revealed to us as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust Him.

We Believe...that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell.

We Believe...in the virgin birth. Jesus was both human and devine; He was God manifested in the flesh.

We Believe...in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We Believe...that He ascended on high and has sent his Spirit the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 1900 years ago, and it is this same Spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today.

We Believe...in baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is initially evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth.

We Believe...in living a holy, sanctified life.

We Believe...in devine healing, communion and foot washing.

We Believe...in the glorious catching away of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take His people, the righteous, to heaven to live with Him eternally.

Now, Therefore, Our Chief Aim is to glorify our Savior, who is Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
